Christmas card designs are here. It took me a while to decide what I wanted to offer and these are what I finally decided on. I love them!

These are the cards that will be offered with the holiday mini sessions, so be thinking about which you want if you choose the package with the cards. If you already had a photo session this year, you can get cards too. Just pick your card and let me know which photos you want in it. Cards are $65 for 25 or $100 for 50.

I met Miss M in an airport. In Tokyo. Yes, Tokyo. You see, My husband witnessed her mommy and daddy’s wedding long before Miss M or myself were in the picture. My husband had spoken of them before and I knew of them and that he thought fondly of them. I did not know them personally until Miss M’s mommy and I struck up a conversation together in the restroom in the airport. The connection was discovered quickly and I have known Miss M every since. I have taken her photos before, and was honored to take them again. I can’t believe what a little girl she is turning into and it was great to get to see them for an evening of photos while they passed through the Duke City. I should caution you, she is one of the cutest little girls you will ever see! Seriously!

Welcome to my humble piece of real estate on the web! I am happy your here. All 3 or 4 of you. While I hope to grow to many many more followers the 3 or 4 that are here, you are a huge part of my journey to get to this exact point. Thanks to all of you who have loaned me your children while I was growing as an artist and photographer. Thanks to all of you who encouraged me to keep moving forward and thanks to all of you who have given me feedback. Hugs and more hugs to you all.

A very very special thank you and HUGE hug to my good friend, Jowhara. Thanks for the hours of phone time talking about the industry. Thanks for the hours on the phone listening to me whine about this and that. Thanks for the criticism and encouragement along the way. Thanks for sharing knowledge and friendship. We do not live close to one another but she has been here on this journey with me for a while now. She holds my proverbial hand when I am in need and raises her proverbial wine glass when it is time to celebrate a new accomplishment. So cheers, friend. There is a big piece of you in this whole operation and I am sure there will continue to be for as many years as it exists. Hopefully my complaints will go from making no money to not knowing what to do with it all, but we aren’t in LA so it won’t happen. It doesn’t hurt to dream. After all this all started as a vision.

Next special thanks goes out to my one and only. My husband. Thanks for allowing me to follow dreams, no matter how many paths are left half traveled. You never doubt me or try to clip my wings. It takes a very special person to find beauty in the freedom I request and require, and you do, one of the many reasons I love you. Thank you for picking up the slack around our home while I am going through periods of growth and spend hours upon hours in front of a computer. A big fat huge thank you for turning a blind eye to the bank statements while this business is in it’s infancy, I wouldn’t want to lose you to a heart attack so young so just keep your blind fold on, honey. I will tell you when it is okay to look again. Really, from the bottom of my being, thank you for being exactly who I need you to be.

And last, thanks to my little man, my core. He who has fueled inspiration and hunger for tangible memories. He who has shown me how precious little moments in life are and how very fast they slip through our fingers with faint traces in our memories. I refuse to settle for such faintness with him. He is too special not to remember in depth and in color. I want to be able to give other people those tangible memories, the ability to remember the little things. Clearly. Thank you, son. For inspiration, for gratitude, for a very deep and resounding humbleness, for meaning, for boundless love and more laughs than a lifetime deserves.

I have just fallen in love with this little session. These two girls are so cute and so much fun.. I really just can’t stand it. These are the type of kiddos that make my job SUPER SUPER easy! The are always so full of smiles and sweet laughter. I just adore both of them! It really all makes sense once you meet their Mommy, they are really just a sweet reflection of her! Thanks, K for sharing your girls with me and giving me to opportunity to photograph them. It is absolutely one of my favorite sessions to date

The H Family recently moved and we barely got the session scheduled before they pulled out of town for their new home. Returning a favor. Or four.

This is one of the NICEST most sincere families I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. The have have been there during my time of need a few times and it was nice to return some of their kindness. The father of these three beauties happens to be a doctor and every time I am in Kansas City, I happen to need a doctor on the fly. He has been nice enough to take care of me while I was pregnant and oh so sick. He has personally escorted my son and I to the hospital and stitched up my little guy with his first set of stitches, and he did so with a smile to top it off. The lovely mother of these three is just as kind. Every time we visit she is always at the door with toys and goodies for my little man as well as a warm hug and smile for my husband and I.

These three don’t fall far from the tree with their overwhelming kindness and willingness to help out any way they can. I know they will all go on to be great people and do great things. Enjoy this very special family through photos and if you are lucky enough to get the chance to meet them someday, then you will know that my words here hold little weight to their selflessness and ability to light up any situation with their smiles!
